PURE Base (Lime Base)

PURE Microbase is a two-component lime-based microcement, a more ecological and environmentally friendly product with lower CO2 emissions in its manufacture. It has been formulated to be applied as a thin continuous coating on floors and walls. It stands out for its handcrafted finish, workability, and extreme hardness. It is applied with a trowel in several layers, allowing a wide variety of effects to be achieved, such as tadelakt or exposed concrete finishes.

In short, before starting to apply PURE Base Lime-Based Microcement, it is necessary to prepare the surface according to its specific characteristics: degreasing, vacuuming, vapor barrier, etc.

PURE Base Lime Microcement is applied before PURE Finishing or PURE Traffic. It is usually applied in two layers, however, this is a necessary condition for obtaining a good result from the Kcberry Base Lime microcement system.

PURE Base can also be used as a finish by applying two more layers, which will create a rustic finish.

When preparing your PURE Base Microcement (Lime Base), it is necessary to mix it with Lime Resin and Pigment in the recommended proportions.

20 kg of PURE Base – 6.7 L Lime Resin

Yield

2 Coats – 1.4 kg/m²

How to mix

1-    Pour the recommended amount of Lime Resin into an empty container.

2-    Stir the pigment and mix it with the Lime Resin until you obtain a homogeneous liquid.

3-    Gradually add PURE Base Microcement to the container with the Lime Resin while mixing mechanically.

4-    Mix for 3 minutes until you obtain a homogeneous solution.

Application Process

·         Apply Microcement PURE Base to smooth, level, and degreased surfaces.

·         Apply with a metal trowel.

·         All coats must be pigmented.
